Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions?

What is sin?

Why hasn’t Christianity saved the world by now?

Why can’t Christians get along with one another?

Why does America seem more immoral now than in the 1950s?

What’s gone wrong in America?

Why is there so much hurt and unhappiness?

Where does real happiness come from?

Where does hate originate?

What is love?

Does God love the sexually perverse?

What will really happen at the end of time?

How can I know I will go to heaven?

Where do we go when we die?

We all have the same questions, but have you noticed how varied and puzzling the answers are? Everyone seems to have a different opinion. If you choose to read one more set of answers in this book, you can expect some honest, straightforward reasoning. In the words of a favorite television series, I plan to “boldly go where no man has gone before.” There will be moments when your mind refuses to believe what your eyes are reading, moments of denial and moments when you may feel anger. Be angry! But do not be afraid of the journey. Investigate, probe, seek out, and do your own investigating along the way. You will need logic, common sense, judgment, and wisdom. For this is an adventure of the mind for renewal and rebirth, an encounter for persuasion.

On this voyage, banish fear. If it looms to block your vision, face and conquer it and keep on moving. As you work your way through many feelings, the end result will be cleansing and, I hope, enlightening. If at times you are overwhelmed by the depths of the darkness from which we are emerging and the brightness of the approaching light, take time to close your eyes and rest. Meditate. Relax. Sleep. Cry. Laugh. Temporary total shutdown is permissible for short periods. I needed to shut down myself during peak overload. Once I took the outbound plane to Hawaii, leaving my thoughts in my computer and my notepad by my bedside. I relaxed surrounded by fragrant flowers, the blue Pacific Ocean, and warm sunlight until the time arrived to return to my thoughts. You must return also. Reactivate when you’re ready. Proceed at your own speed. Don’t be pushed.

Throw guilt to the wind. There is a place for everything, but there is no place for guilt when using mind power to probe the validity of truth. Consider this: when people do not know the truth, they don’t know when they are listening to lies. Truth must be recognized before lies can be identified. When you do not know the truth yourself, you are open game for predators who can manipulate and destroy you. If you already have a solid, profound grasp of truth, no one can prove you wrong. Do not feel guilty or be afraid to examine your own truth or to compare it with someone else’s. Guilt over thinking about truth is not allowed to stow away on this expedition. As you read, occasionally examine your baggage to see if guilt is hiding there. Don’t let it hold you back.

Are you ready? Let’s activate our reasoning power. The journey itself will not be painless, but in the distance beckons a land where tears are wiped away, sorrow and crying will be a thing of the past, and pain is banished. Our America is so far from being a land with no pain that we cannot fathom, even with our most liberated, free, far-reaching imaginations, how we can become a land with no pain. We are far from the land God promised. Most of us have lost hope of ever arriving there. Yet, God keeps His promises in His own time. He does not lie. He cannot lie. There will be a chosen generation to reach the Promised Land.

I give you my understanding of the course we need to set if we want to arrive on that distant shore where we’ll find peace on Earth. If you have a plan of your own, please present it for consideration!

Today, we have a Christianity that has not provided us with correct answers to the questions listed above. We have many denominations telling us different answers making the truth of today difficult to believe. How do we know who is telling the truth? When the correct answers are given, truth will be the same for all people and for all Christian denominations resulting in just one denomination. Jesus is the truth made flesh and his truth will be the same for all denominations and all religions.  In my book, I answer all the questions listed above and several more such as, what is evil? What does the fear of the Lord mean? What does the glory of God mean? What makes a person holy? Where is hell?

Yes, we need a better Christianity than what we have today. All humans are promised a better Christianity in the last days. But first, God will conclude the world with no belief in God “For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all” (Romans 11:32). First comes no belief in God. Then comes this new Christianity promised to come in the last days with mercy for all, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established…and shall be exalted…and all nations shall flow unto it” (Isaiah 2:2) This explains why there are so many unanswered questions today. It explains why there are so many Christian denominations, so many religions, and so much discord. The new Christianity in the last days will understand the truth of God and truth will be the same for all people. The first coming of Jesus can be expected in the last days.  “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.” Verse 5 “Behold I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:4-5) Every current religious belief will change. All truth will be new.
