Mercy is defined in The New World Dictionary as refraining from harming or punishment in excess of what may be expected. A disposition to forgive, pity, or to be kind. Kind and compassionate treatment.
The Bible agrees with this definition. And God has promised to have mercy on all people. “For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all” (Romans 11:32). Notice the good news; God will have mercy on all people. This is a promise that will be fulfilled in the last days after God has concluded all in unbelief.
God promises to have mercy on all those who fell for the sin that began in Eden called evil. He will not harm or punish them. He will forgive and have pity and be kind and compassionate on all who have departed from God and followed the ways of Satin. This is a promise to all those who fell for oral and anal sex.
In the last days the population of the earth can be divide into just two groups of people—a remnant (a few) and Sodom and Gomorrah (the masses) as stated in Isaiah 1:9, “Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.” The remnant believes in God. Those in Sodom and Gomorrah believe in Satin. This is a picture of God and Satin, good and evil, light and darkness, holy and profane, righteousness and wickedness.
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17: 30). What ignorance is God speaking of? We have been ignorant to what is evil, and what is wickedness. Ignorant of what the sin in Eden was. Adam and Eve committed evil; but has that sin been named? No, it has not.
However, God promises to have mercy on those given to evil and are ignorant of what God calls evil. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7). Again, mercy is forgiveness without punishment. Pity and kindness with compassion. God will abundantly pardon all those given to evil–the sex of Sodom and Gomorrah.
We must ask two questions. How do we get from where we are (living in evil) to heaven on earth? And what is the Christianity of today all about?
What about today’s Christianity? If there is no belief in God in the last days then we must realize all the woes to the hypocrites will be read to those calling themselves Christians.
How do we get to heaven on earth? The day will come when God will tell all men (humans) they must repent and stop being ignorant. “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). All those given to evil will repent and stop sinning. All will be obedient and end the ignorance “As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance” (1Peter 1:14).
Yes, the day will come when all will repent. God will have mercy on all people and all people will have mercy on each other. “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”. (Proverbs 28:13). Mercy is forgiveness without punishment. When you have been forgiven then you must forgive all others when they repent. If you do not forgive others, God will not forgive you. “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:15). You must have mercy on all who repent and that means forgiveness without punishment—no law suits, no jail time. The day is coming when God will call all to repent. Matthew 3:2, “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
