The day will come when spiritual darkness covers the earth as stated in Isaiah 60:2, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” This verse is giving us bad new and also good news. The bad news is that spiritual darkness will cover the earth. The good news is Jesus will show his glory, his goodness, to all those in darkness. Jesus said: “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8: 12).
To understand darkness, we must understand the sin in Eden. When Adam and Eve sinned, they departed from God to serve Satan. They left the light and went into darkness. God made vaginal intercourse. Satan made oral and anal sex and this sin is the path into darkness. When oral and anal sex is as wide spread as it is today, we can say darkness is everywhere. Do you see the Christianity of today being in darkness? How many denominations marry and ordain the gays? Is there even one denomination that has told humankind what the sin in Eden was? No.
Again, where does darkness originate? In Matthew 6:23 we are told “But if thine eye be evil; thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, ®how great is that darkness…” The cross reference ®takes us to the first chapter of Romans to explain darkness. Here is where we learn about men with men and all those who practice Satan’s sex. They are the ones who make the darkness.
This truth that darkness will cover the earth can be said this way. “Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah” (Isaiah 1:9). A remnant is left at the end. In the end time only a few will serve God and the vast majority will be like Sodom and Gomorrah; serving Satan. The majority make the darkness.
There is no LGBTQ group mentioned in scripture. But Sodom and Gomorrah is the same as the LGBTQ community. The sin in Sodom and Gomorrah is called fornication. “Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them…giving themselves over to fornication…” (Jude 1:7.) The sin in the LGBTQ movement is called fornication. Unnatural sex is called fornication and fornication is forbidden by God as stated, “…w the body is not made for fornication, but for the Lord” (1Corinthians 6:13). Fornication is responsible for the darkness.
In this darkness no truth is being spoken. The fornicators (all who practice oral and anal sex) have departed from God or you could say they have departed from truth. So, when they are placed behind the pulpit no truth is spoken. When viewing the darkness on earth in the last days, this end time Christianity speaks no truth to us. All the woes to the hypocrites will be read to the Christians of today such as “blind leaders of the blind”. Blind people are in darkness.
Now let us look at the good news from this verse in Isaiah 60:2, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth…. but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee”. Notice there is no Jesus until after the earth is in total darkness. Today the earth is in darkness and we can expect a Jesus who will end this darkness. Jesus said: “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8: 12).
Jesus did not come 2000 years ago and end the darkness. That is obvious. “For God hath concluded (ended) them all in unbelief (darkness), that he might have mercy upon all” (Romans 11:32). Mercy comes at the end – not before. Jesus comes at the end—not before. Mercy upon all is good news. Mercy means compassion, pity, forgiveness, sympathy. Good news!
Jesus will bring a law. “I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people” (Hebrews 8:10). Then he tells us who should listen to the law he brings. “Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah” (Isaiah 1:10).
In Proverbs 6:23 we learn that this law is light, “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light…” When obeying this law you will come to the light (Jesus) and will leave the spiritual darkness behind.
